Recently, the ISO 26262:2018 ASIL D functional safety process certification ceremony of KESENS Power Technology (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. was successfully held. This certification was completed and awarded by the internationally authoritative third-party organization T Ü V NORD North Germany Certification. Representatives from both parties witnessed the important milestone of KESENS Power in the construction process of the automotive functional safety system.

ISO 26262 is a globally recognized international standard for functional safety of electronic and electrical products for road vehicles. ASIL D is the highest safety integrity level defined by the standard and is commonly used for in vehicle core systems such as power systems and chassis braking that are related to the safety of drivers and passengers. The certification audit covers the entire product lifecycle development process, with a wide range of audit dimensions and strict entry barriers. It is a core entry condition for mainstream vehicle manufacturers and top tier suppliers at home and abroad to select high-end electronic control component partners.

After a systematic review and evaluation, the T Ü V NORD expert group has confirmed that KESENS has established a complete, standardized, and functional safety research and development system that meets the ASIL D level requirements of ISO 26262:2018 standard, which can support the design, development, validation, and delivery of the highest safety level in vehicle electronic products.
